Paul Michael Glaser is proud to announce the release of CHRYSTALLIA AND THE SOURCE OF LIGHT, a life affirming story about a fourteen year old girl and her eleven year old brother who, on the eve of their last Christmas with their dying mother, take a magical journey through the underground world of crystals and minerals in search of the source of light. Paul Glaser currently serves as Honorary Chairman of the Board of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the leading non-profit organization committed to ensuring better overall medical treatments for children, preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV, and creating a healthier future for children worldwide. He was chair of the Board of Directors from 1996 to 2002. When Paul assumed the Chair, the Foundation had a Board of seven, a budget of 5-7 Million, and was at a crossroads as to whether it would be able to maintain the core funding for continuing research and the public’s focus on the relevancy of H.I.V. research. To that end, he led the growth of the Board to 25, a budget that now is in excess of 80 million, and the realization of a multi-faceted organization that has been particularly successful in raising funds and maintaining the relevancy of H.I.V. research as it affects not only infected children worldwide, but research into what H.I.V. can teach us about other life threatening childhood diseases. To that end, Paul was instrumental in establishing the Glaser Pediatric Research Network in 2000. The Network was designed to hasten the transfer of research findings into patient treatments and therapies geared expressly for- and tested on- children. As an actor, Paul appeared in over 50 roles in regional, repertory, off-Broadway and Broadway theatre. He has appeared in the television soap operas 'Love is a Many Splendored Thing,' and 'Love of Life.' .” He is well known for his role as Starsky in the television series, "Starsky and Hutch.’ He has guest starred in a number of T.V. series and television movies in the past. He has appeared in the movies "Fiddler on the Roof," "Butterflies Are Free" and "Phobia,” “Something’s Gotta Give” with Diane Keaton, and “Starsky and Hutch – the movie” Paul also writes, directs and produces motion pictures and television shows. He has directed and/or produced ‘Band of the Hand,' 'The Running Man,' 'The Cutting Edge,' 'The Air Up There,' and 'Kazaam' and recent television shows including, Judging Amy, The Agency, Robbery Homicide Division, Mr. Sterling, Lyon’s Den, Las Vegas, and The E Ring. Born in Cambridge, MA, Paul graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in English Literature and Theatre, and Boston Universtiy with a Master's Degree in Theatre. He resides in Venice, CA. He has a son from his marriage to Elizabeth Glaser, who died in 1994 from complications of AIDS. Jake is twenty-six years old. Divorce is not an event. Divorce is a process, a journey in which we make the transition from being part of a couple to being single. It is a journey during the course of which one unit of two divides into two units of one. The goal of divorce is to begin as two, end as one, and still feel whole. Divorce is a journey which leads us through a maze of transitions including a legal divorce...physical divorce...emotional divorce...financial divorce...and spiritual divorce. In order to successfully navigate this treacherous and painful path we must have advisers along the way who have expertise in specific areas of the divorce process who will guide us along the path so that at the end of our journey we remain whole. Ron Supancic, The Law Collaborative discusses the process—and why collaborative mediation is the most cost efficient approach to divorce during these tough economic times.
