Tina Asbill
Tina Asbill has been with Neighborhood House Association (NHA) since 2006 when she was hired as a temporary Office Assistant. During her employment with NHA, Asbill was promoted to Senior Human Resources Technician, Human Resources Analyst, and was recently appointed, Interim, Human Resources Manager. Asbill was nominated as NHA’s first Employee of the Month in January 2009. Asbill received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development from San Diego Christian College and completed her Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University. JULIE P. DOHERTY is a Washington, DC metropolitan area-based independent consultant in government and public affairs with a specialization in clean energy. Susan N. Luis Gonzalez
Luis Gonzalez is Director of Community Affairs for Neighborhood House Association. His work in print, broadcast, radio and online media fields gives him a diverse skill-set in communications. Gonzalez is adept at merging the many aspects of media and marketing communications to achieve successful results. Gonzalez began his career working for T.V. networks - - Univision, Telemundo and NBC. He produced two Hispanic radio shows, Voces de San Diego and En la Frontera. He was the magazine director for No Cover and Accesso and worked on several national marketing campaigns, including Billboard Latin Music Awards. Alfonso Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriguez has worked with social services and human services programs for over 30 years. He started as a pre-school teacher and child development director in urban Detroit community colleges, and later worked in a day treatment program for young children. Harold Tuck was appointed Chief Information Officer for the County of San Diego in March 2008. His responsibilities include all operational and strategic Information Technology functions for San Diego County, providing services to 17,000 County employees at over 200 facilities. . The County was the first Municipal Government to outsource all IT functions to the private sector. As CIO, one of Tuck’s primary, and highly visible responsibilities is to ensure that County government and its citizens receive the full benefit of this multi-year, $700 million IT Outsourcing Contract. A key member of the County's executive team, Tuck works closely with the Board of Supervisors and Chief Administrative Officer Walter F. Ekard to implement new management practices that stress customer service, accountability and team-work. In this position, he is leading the County Technology Office towards accomplishing the countywide strategic goals of improving opportunities for children, protecting the environment, and promoting safe and livable communities. Tuck joined the County in 1986 as Electronic Data Processing coordinator for Health Services. He also served as General Manager for the Health and Human Services Agency's Central Region, and Director of Housing and Community Development. Dr. Sheryl Gee, a cultural psychologist and organization development consultant with over 25 years of experience, serves as Vice President of Training and Organization Development with the Neighborhood House Association (NHA) in San Diego, CA. She also leads InnoVisions, a social enterprise of NHA that provides leadership, staff, and organization development services to other organizations.
Dr. Gee started her career as a preschool teacher and assistant site supervisor at Barksdale AFB. She transitioned to working as an external rehabilitation consultant with Crawford & Co, state rehabilitation counselor with Nebraska Dept. of Education, and area manager for Cascade Rehabilitation Services (a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual). She served as a rehabilitation counselor and organization effectiveness specialist with the City of San Diego and then transitioned into successfully serving as an external organization development consultant working with government, nonprofit, educational & corporate organizations.
Since 1999, she has served as an adjunct Leader/Executive Coach with the Center for Creative Leadership & professor at National University. She regularly serves as a guest lecturer for other universities.
Dr. Gee holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grambling State University, a master’s degree in counseling from Louisiana Tech University, and a master’s and Doctor of Psychology degree in culture and human behavior from Alliant International University.
