Teresa Ahern, mother of Kyla Porter speaks about her daughter who was last heard from February 15, 2008 in the Holiday, FL area. She telephoned her sister stating she was on her way home. Kyla was never heard from again. It is unknown where she was at the time of the call. Her family asks the public to help with information. They are heartbroken and have been searching for Kyla continually for two years. Kyla is 5'4" and weighs 125 pounds. She has a beautiful smile with straight teeth. Kyla loves stars and she has two very clear tattoos of a star on each upper portion of her chest. She also has a tattoo on her back. She is 19-years-old. Kyla may be wandering the streets or she may have met with foul play. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Joey Piscitelli was a Catholic from birth until he was molested by a priest at Salesian High School in Richmond, CA where he was attending 9th grade. He had just turned 14-years-old at the time. Joey was an A-student and even though he was 14, he weighed 85 lbs. The abuse continued from 1969 to 1972. Against all odds, in 2003, Joey sued the Church. He prevailed after five years of litigation and multiple appeals. In 2009 Joey finally received the $650,000 awarded by the jury. Former Deputy District Attorney, Darryl Stallworth, went from an illustrious high school career where he was 4-sport scholar athlete of the year, student body president, & valedictorian to UC Berkeley as a 3-year starter for the CAL Bears varsity football team, graduating with a BA in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor from UC Davis and while there served as President of the Black Law Association. Joyce Tafoya
Joyce Tafoya was born Terry Lee McDonald. Joyce always knew she was different from the rest of the family. When Joyce was 37 years old, her adopted grandmother broke the news that she was adopted. Joyce ultimately obtained a copy of the relinquishment document that included her birth name and the name of her mother, Elizabeth Fern Rathjen. Joyce spent the next 20 plus years looking for her mother and finally located her Uncle Bud who gave her photos of her mother and her mother’s medical records. Her mother was committed to a mental institution, Stockton State Mental Hospital in Stockton, CA but walked away in 1956. After years of searching on her own and hiring private investigators, Joyce found licensed private investigator, Tammy Davidson in 2007.Tammy located information concerning mass graves found on the old hospital grounds and the results are still pending. Francie drew on her investigative and retail experience to create the 3-part video, Loss Prevention - The Big Picture. International results included an invitation to Moscow, where she spoke to Russian nationals interested in privatization. Francie is the former president of the National Council Of Investigation & Security Services and of the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI). Awarded by both organizations for her work, she serves on their legislation committees and regularly testifies before the California State Legislature regarding bills concerning PI’s. She chairs CALI’s legislation committee and formerly chaired the same committee for the National Association of Legal Investigators. Francie has been recognized by her state regulatory agency for outstanding service to her profession. She holds memberships in the Council for International Investigators, World Association of Detectives and California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. In addition, Francie works with the Innocence Project and is a Certified Conflict Mediator.
