Mike Adams

Mike began his mission as the Health Ranger as a response to his own failing health. At 30, he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, brought on by poor diet and severe lack of exercise. As a high-powered software executive, extreme levels of stress, cholesterol, depression and back pain were common features of Mike's past. Searching for answers to his health woes, Mike dove into research; he devoured thousands of books on nutrition, pharmaceutical drugs, wellness programs, the politics of food - anything he could find. Mike has made it his life mission to share the most remarkable discovery he has made: the vast majority of all diseases can be prevented and cured without drugs or surgery. And that’s exactly what Mike did. He cured himself of diabetes in a matter of months and transformed himself into the picture of perfect health in mind, body and spirit. When Mike first discovered the life-changing information about health, he thought few people would believe what he was telling them. To be believed, he first had to prove that his own ideas about health were valid. So Mike decided to put them to the test by transforming his physical body into the healthiest patient any doctor had seen. View Guest page

Helke Ferrie

Medical journalist Helke Ferrie exposes the FDA’s war on vitamins and supplements. Helke Ferrie’s education includes prehistoric, ancient Near Eastern and Greek archaeology, Chinese and Buddhist studies, and a master’s degree in physical anthropology. When Helke became seriously ill in the mid-1990’s with Myasthenia gravis, she learned that standard medicine is not concerned with causation which, in her case, turned out to be mercury amalgam dental fillings and many years’ exposure to DDT while growing up in India. Nor did standard medicine offer her anything beyond symptom control with steroids and other carcinogenic immuno-suppressant drugs, all of which accelerate osteoporosis, leaving her with no meaningful choice between treatment and the disease. When Helke was ill, a brief telephone conversation with internationally renowned toxicologist Dr. Boyd Haley of the University of Kentucky gave her hope of recovery. His information was grounded in sound, verifiable science and precipitated an epiphany for her: that the concept of an “idiopathic” disease (i.e. of no known cause) and incurable is the stuff of illusion, of nightmares, from which we can awake. Their horses had never had health problems, but that stopped abruptly when Pagosa Springs added silicofluorides to the municipal water supply, the main source of water for the horses. The horses began to display numerous and diffuse symptoms that they were unable to classify, and, worse, baffled their veterinarian. Colic, Cushing’s syndrome, foals dying, mares dying. Eventually, they lost six beautiful show horses and four dogs, and there was no explanation. When they were finally able to prove scientifically that fluoridation had caused the deaths, Cathy became a relentless and effective campaigner against fluoridation. Clint Ober

Clint Ober … Earthing Howard Straus’ guest Jan. 23, 2012 on The Power of Natural Healing. Clint Ober, a pioneer in the communications and cable television industry, discovered by chance in 1998 that being in direct physical bare skin contact with the Earth is important for health. He knew from his background that connection with the Earth is the essential stabilizing factor for communication and cable systems. All such systems are grounded, that is, connected to Earth’s stabilizing surface energy via a ground rod. Since 1998, Clint has relentlessly pursued scientific research and produced a dozen studies showing that Earthing or grounding — as he often calls it — has a profound and positive impact on human physiology and health. He also developed simple and convenient Earthing systems that allow people to ground themselves when inside their homes and offices and reap the benefits, such as less pain, better sleep, and more energy. Mr. Ober has documented his amazing discovery and pursuit of scientific validation of the profound health benefits of Earthing in the award winning book, Earthing:The Most Important Health Discovery Ever? (Basic Health Publications, 2010), co-authored with cardiologist Stephen Sinatra and health writer Martin Zucker. The book “Earthing” received the prestigious Nautilus Award shortly after being published and was named Book of the Month in April 2011 by the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
