[Download MP3] [itunes] [Bookmark Episode]

Understanding body language, controlling interviews, and excelling in negotiations is a skill set few master. Some are aware of it, others completely miss the mark, and very few wield this craft. We participate in this Unspoken Dialogue in our everyday lives, most of the time it’s the undercurrent of language we just instinctively use, follow, and survive with. Heightening ones awareness and consciously using, reading, and even projecting this as a trade craft is a special skill set that can be invaluable in our careers as protectors. The Secret Service trains in body language awareness, we are dazzled by the secret skills of the CIA, the interviewing techniques of the FBI are well portrayed and all that rumor is somewhat tied to a special trade of skilled observation. Some of this is so common we are barely aware of it; fine tuning it makes it a skill set. This episode gives you some awareness that can add to your knowledge base.
