My show is about the game behind the game. We’ll look at the X’s and O’s, the stress and pressures, and the contract speak and college recruiting decisions. We will circumnavigate the world of sports in every arena that’s relevant to you. We will hustle to bring you the inside scoop, and the woulda, shoulda, coulda’s that didn’t happen. We will also “put on blast” anyone who needs it. Listen for Hustling with KLEW 59, every Wednesday at 10 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Sports Channel.
Kevin Lewis (KLEW)
Kevin Lewis has been a student of the game his entire life. From Little League to the NFL he was always seen as another coach on the field who got guys lined up and the defense in the right spot. He was a very versatile player as well, having played every position from the d-line to the secondary through college and the pros. One example of Kevin’s versatility came in a game against the Arizona Cardinals. Kevin played all three linebacker positions in one game, becoming the first player in New York Giants history to do so. He did this feat without committing one single ME (mental error). By being a middle linebacker Kevin was the QB of the defense, so his knowledge of the game exceeds those who think of the game in a more position oriented way. Kevin was awarded numerous game balls and awards throughout his football career but the most important award to him is his “Key to the City” of Orlando, Florida award. Kevin received this award due to his hard work in the impoverished community. Kevin also was presented a day in his honor, “Kevin Lewis Day.” Kevin strives to succeed in order to paint a clear picture for the youth in his community that reads, “it’s not where you start, it’s how you finish.”
