Episode Description

In this episode of Autism Spectrum Radio, Dr. Frea investigates some of the standard classroom models used for teaching young children with autism. Classroom teaching models are invaluable for educators in their efforts to provide quality instruction to children with autism. They offer a valuable framework for instructors and therapists and help children achieve their full potential. In this episode Dr. Frea will focus on the LEAP classroom model. LEAP is a multi-faceted program that helps educators look at classroom education strategies from a variety of perspectives. We look forward to talking about some of ways the LEAP program has helped young children with autism in the classroom. Dr. Frea is happy to welcome a very distinguished guest to the show this week, Dr. Phil Strain. Dr. Strain is the originator of the LEAP classroom model, and a well known figure in ABA therapy circles. Don’t miss this episode of Autism Spectrum Radio Tuesday, May 29th at 11 AM.
