LaMar Campbell

A native of Chester, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia LaMar Campbell was raised in a blue collar City and learned at a young age the benefits of being a relentless worker. Educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison LaMar attended school on an athletic scholarship and after graduation with a degree in World History he furthered his post-collegiate career on the gridirons of the National Football League for Six Seasons. Under the tutelage of respected veterans LaMar understood that it was Imperative to begin his outlook on life after football. During this period LaMar became an investor and contributed to projects in his hometown of Philadelphia do better the community and schools in his area. After the success and ability to touch. The community in such a way Lamar loves with the aspect of real estate and obtained An Internship with a real estate firm in Michigan while still an active member of the NFL. After retirement LaMar relocated back to Philadelphia for the opportunity to further his Real Estate Education at the prestigious Wharton School of Business using the NFL Business Initiative where he participated in the Entrepreneurial Real Estate Development Program and relocated his Real Estate business to Atlanta Georgia where he now resides. Susie Sanchez

Author Susie Sanchez describes how, defying all odds, Sanchez, a lifelong dancer, perseveres through the trials and tribulations of balancing family life with dance life as she dreams of performing on a grander scale. Whether she’s teaching dance to neighborhood children, helping raise her granddaughter, or achieving success as a Professional Cheerleader in the NFL, Sanchez embraces each and every experience, and aspires to positively impact everyone she meets throughout her incredible journey. In 2010, Susie became a member of the San Jose Wolves’ dance team, The She Wolves. She was a professional cheerleader in the NFL during the 2011-2012 season for the Oakland Raiders as a Raiderette. She was named by Foxsports.com as one of 15 Sports Mothers we salute on Mother’s Day 2013. Leonard Weaver

Today’s special guest on Ray Ellis Sports is the Philadelphia Eagle’s All Pro Running Back Leonard Weaver. Weaver began his college football career in 2001 at Carson-Newman College Weaver was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2005 and converted to the fullback position. In 2006 Weaver was named the Seahawks starting fullback. His first starting game was against the New Orleans Saints, A restricted free agent in the 2008 offseason, Weaver signed his one-year, tender offer on April 17. Weaver signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on March 20, 2009 and he was selected to the 2010 Pro Bowl as a starting fullback. During the season on his days off in Philadelphia , he volunteers to teach classes in nearby Camden New Jersey schools. Leonard's faith and community involvement are of great importance to him. Nicknamed "The Bishop" in college for his proclivity to spend free time traveling with a ministry in the off-season singing Christian themed R&B music. Mr. Weaver will be honored this year for his commitment to communities at the Player Networking Event. The event is a sanctioned Super Bowl event to assist players with transition from the sport into mainstream America. It is hosted by Troupe21 www.troupe21.com a human capital firm. Ray Ellis

Ray Ellis, raised in Canton, Ohio has been a Browns’ fan all his life – which makes sense that he would have a successful career as a Browns Strong Safety. Ellis, a four-year letterman at Ohio State, won All-Big 10 honors with five interceptions as a senior defensive co-captain. He went on to play for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1981 and in 1986 joined the Cleveland Browns. Ellis’ career stats include: 427 tackles, 14 interceptions, nine fumbles caused, six recovered fumbles, three quarterback sacks and three blocked punts. Since leaving the Browns, Ellis has been active in both business and community, most recently as Chief Operating Officer for People for People, a non-profit corporation in Philadelphia whose mission is to educate underprivileged youth and young adults. Ellis has also been active with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Special Olympics, United Way, United Negro Fund and the National Center for Missing Children. Ellis now resides in Phoenix, AZ with his wife, Darice.
