Episode Description

Do you need to be a superwoman to be a good parent and good businessperson? Having it all at once as opposed to having it all over time? The importance of women in leadership was brought to the forefront recently by Sheryl Sandberg’s book Lean In. What is the ruckus over Sandberg’s book? What is she saying? Does the fact that she’s a married wealthy woman and the mother of two young children negate what she has to say? Attorney Bettina Lawton, a role model for women in leadership, will discuss the importance of women in leadership positions in business and on corporate boards, the improvements made over the years, and the steps necessary to create future improvements at work and at home. Tune in Thursday, April 4, at 6 PM Eastern - 3 PM Pacific – for this illuminating discussion.
