Join co-host Jenni Frumer and her guest, Dr. Jennifer Murnane who is with Capital Analytics, a consultancy revolutionizing the way organizations assess their investments in people. Dr. Murnane’s experience spans the fields of finance, adult education, and human capital. Her unique experience led her to further pursue the value of human capital in organizations, specifically knowledge management for non-profit organizational stakeholders. She has extensive experience in working with non-profit organizations in capacities as an employee, researcher, and consultant. She has authored several dozen academic and practitioner articles and is a sought-after public speaker in the area of human capital management. She currently serves on the faculty of Bellevue University’s Ph.D. in Human Capital Management program. Dr. Murnane earned her Ph.D. in Family & Consumer Sciences Education from Iowa State University. This episode will delve into the issues of how nonprofits and public agencies can better engage in knowledge management and understand the importance of leadership development to gain competitive advantage in the rapidly changing environment and limited resources.

Dr. Sheryl White, with Guest Co-Host Dr. Undraye Howard

Dr. Sheryl White, a cultural psychologist, brings over 20 years of experience providing leadership, workforce, and organization development consulting, training, and coaching services to municipalities, nonprofits, educational institutions, and for-profit corporations worldwide. Dr. White, the Vice President of Training and Organization Development at Neighborhood House Association (NHA) in San Diego, CA and is also the founder of NHA’s social enterprise, InnoVisions, which provides professional, leadership, and organization development services to other organizations. Since 1999, Dr. White has served as an executive coach and facilitator with the Center for Creative Leadership. Dr. White is passionate about helping people work better, and better together.

Undraye Howard is vice president of the Center on Leadership at the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities. He also is an adjunct professor at several universities, where he teaches courses on youth, work development, leadership, communication practices and processes, and effectiveness in the human services world. Howard holds master’s in communication with an emphasis in training and development from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree.
