As July 4th draws near, we are reminded that we live in a great country that loves, protects and defends its Constitution and its peoples' individual freedoms. But freedom comes with obligations and responsibilities which require action. Making a difference requires action, and its outcome depends on how passionate and/or compassionate one is about the cause. There is value in everyone; the challenge is to find ways to help our people at work and at home recognize and identify their value, and the importance of their contributions. If more employers, parents, teachers and mentors were actively engaged in helping their people understand their unique individual values and capitalize on them, they will be more motivated to engage in positive behaviors and Making a Difference.
