Fitness professionals, Kymberly Williams-Evans, MA and Alexandra Williams, MA are twins and proud baby boomers. They have been in the exercise industry since the first aerobics studio opened in Europe--with them--before leg warmers and thong leotards were the rage. Their international fitness experience spans land, sea, and airwaves. Together they bring their knowledge and upbeat style to their blog Fun And Fit: Healthy Living for Boom Chicka Boomers and to events.
Alexandra has been teaching, writing, editing, and speaking about fitness for over 30 years. Certified by the American Council on Exercise since 1986, she is currently on staff in the exercise studies department at UC Santa Barbara (UCSB), and is also a contributing editor and writer for IDEA Health and Fitness Association. With an advanced degree in systemic counseling, and years as a radio DJ in Santa Barbara County, Alexandra knows the power and joy of words.
Kymberly has taught fitness to more than 20,000 participants on 4 continents in 4 languages for more than 3 decades. Former faculty at UCSB in both the Dept of Exercise & Sports Studies and English, Kymberly has put her Master's Degree in English to good use publishing articles, co-writing the fitness advice blog, FunandFit.org, speaking at events, and serving as inaugural editor for a professional publication. She teaches exercise classes in Santa Barbara, CA, where she continues to encourage people to reap the benefits of movement.
