Episode Description

Business visionary Madan Birla shares strategies for “Unleashing Creativity and Innovation” to drive enterprise growth and career success (http://innovationculture.com/). Drawing on his 22 years at FedEx, 10 years consulting with leaders around the world, and lessons learned from nature, Birla tell us how we can tap into our natural creative potential. What communications skills will gain acceptance for our ideas. How we can turn those ideas into innovations that will help us and our companies out-think and out-perform our competition. How we can engage our teams in the process. How to overcome the most common roadblocks to innovation and minimize negative influences that obstruct creative energy flow. How to build an innovation and performance culture. How to thrive in complex environments, deliver solutions and act behalf of multiple stakeholders. How to become management’s go-to person for innovative business solutions. And last but not least, what 2 words “guarantee promotion.”

Global Reach

Archives Available on VoiceAmerica Business Channel

We are all operating in a dynamic global marketplace, whether we reach across borders to find new customers and fresh ideas or face overseas competitors in our home market.

Global Reach embraces the opportunities and challenges we encounter when operating in multiple countries and cultures. We talk with entrepreneurs and executives about their strategies for winning in fast changing world markets: cross-cultural communication, global branding, media and marketing, transportation and manufacturing, the future of finance, alternative investment strategies, innovation and IP protection.

Global Reach interviews thought leaders about 21st century megatrends that impact international entities: trends like the business and politics of sustainability, the morphing nature of competitiveness, globalization, global companies vs national governments, worldview and growth prescriptions, emerging markets issues, and the corporate impact on society (governance, ethics and leadership).
