Domestic violence happens to men and women, straight, gay, and transgender of all ages. Domestic violence has reached epidemic status in America with teen abusive relationship incident rates rising. Our star hosts, Henna Hundal and Asya Gonzalez want the nation to rally together against this abusive crime to save one another. According to the Bureau of Justice statistics from the year 2003 to 2012 domestic violence accounted for 21% of all violent crimes with 960,000 occurrences reported annually. Every year, more than 3 million children witness domestic violence in their homes. Why is domestic violence so rampant in the United States? What are the signs? What are the solutions? Broadcasting since 2011, twenty-seven young people from around the United States have regularly shared their passions and interests as hosts and reporters on Express Yourself! These teens are not afraid of the tough topics and thrill at the opportunity of interviewing a variety of guests including authors, actors, Olympians, scientists, musicians, poets, and experts of varied disciplines.
