Deranged fifteenth century battlefield warrior, Bluebeard, murdered hundreds of children, because of a mental illness, possibly precipitated by the brutality of war. Just as Bluebeard (Gilles de Rais) took demonic pleasure in the torture and killing of innocents, the psychopathic armies of ISIS and Al Qaeda take pleasure in it now. Today's guest, author of Bluebeard: Brave Warrior, Brutal Psychopath, first became interested in him when her nephew married his descendant and the family hushed all her sudden questions. In researching his life, she came upon the inescapable parallel to today's terrorists.
