Episode Description
Do you have a story to tell? It may be your personal story of a transformed life, the history of your business, or a resource that spotlights the story of your ministry. Whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, curriculum, or a children’s book, the power of a story can change hearts and communicate facts like nothing else can. In this debut episode of Publishing Today, you'll be introduced to three gifted storytellers who’ve put the power of the pen to work in both novels and non-fiction issue based books. The discussion will include many aspects of touching lives with the written word. New York Times bestselling novelist, Karen Kingsbury, will be featured in the first segment, and listeners will be encouraged to text in to win a free copy of each authors’ latest work. A closing portion of the show will include Ask Athena, where your host, industry expert and publisher Athena Dean Holtz, will answer email questions from the listening audience about publishing and everything related.
