In spite of the fact that up to 60% of patients undergoing treatment for cancer develop chemo brain to some degree, many patients and their loved ones are caught off guard when they experience difficulty concentrating, finding the right words, short term memory loss, and multitasking. Chemo brain can have a significant impact on quality of life.
