The flowing, transcendent water sign of Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac. It marks our return to the timeless realm of the Universal Womb of Oneness, from which we are reborn into this world once again as individuated souls. Our guest Maurice Fernandez is the author of Neptune, the 12th House, and Pisces. His book is being re-released as an updated edition in 2016. In his book Maurice provides a groundbreaking perspective on this most misunderstood archetype of the zodiac.
The 14 year transit of Neptune in its own sign of Pisces brings us closer to nature in its raw form, untouched by human intervention and contrivances. We find ourselves influenced by forces greater than us which we cannot control, such as earthquakes and tsunamis, and are confronted with environmental disasters. Janey McCarthy, MEd, left her technology career behind to become a Jungian Karmic Astrologer after discovering what Carl Jung had confirmed: The natal chart is a sacred, geometrically perfected personal database. Professional recognition as an astrologer and writer came when the website Planetwaves.net chose her article ‘The Silence Between the Words’, from 500 submissions, for the 2014 Annual Edition of Listen. She offers workshops and presentations, and counsels her astrology mentors, peers and clients from the east coast.
Mary Jo Wevers, PhD “re-discovered” astrology late in life, and found it came to her intuitively and easily. An enthusiastic and inspired astrologer for 15 years, she counsels clients, teaches classes and gives workshops and seminars on special topics in astrology. She writes a newsletter and has a blog on her web site, MaryJoWevers.com. She is a featured speaker at local metaphysical schools and churches and has been a conversation leader in the Northwest Astrology and Tarot Salon.
As co-hosts we live on different sides of the country, have different backgrounds, life experiences and life styles. We each bring unique intellectual perspectives to the show. We are ‘Aquarian sisters’ at heart. We catalyze each other’s insights and individual curiosities.
