Every year, 'round about the end of January or the beginning of February, many of the people around me get "the flu that's going around," and I don't. I'm often asked, "What do you take to avoid the flu?" In this week's program, I'll share how you can stay healthy this holiday season, and enjoy it in good health. Another topic that threatens to become a major government/Big Pharma intrusion into our lives is the push by the corporations to define a new mental disease and get it enshrined in the professional literature: "orthorexia nervosa," defined as being "overly preoccupied with eating healthy foods." The problem is that it is a judgement call by someone with an agenda, and can very easily be abused. We'll talk about past abuse by the psychiatric cabal and why this is a huge assault on the natural health community.

Howard Straus
Mr. Howard Straus, son of Charlotte Gerson and grandson of Dr. Max Gerson, graduated from MIT with a degree in physics. He was a US naval officer during the Viet Nam war and worked for many years as a computer systems analyst. Howard was Editor-in-Chief of the Gerson Healing Newsletter for ten years and authored an award-winning biography of Dr. Gerson called Dr. Max Gerson: Healing the Hopeless, published in 2002.
Howard was the founding Director of the Gerson Healing Center in Sedona, Arizona, that provided the Gerson Therapy directly to visitors from all over the world. Howard also served on the Board of the Gerson Institute for fifteen years and initiated their Worldwide Web presence during the earliest days of the Internet.
Mr. Straus founded Gerson Health Media that publishes the guidebooks for implementing Gerson Therapy and manages the rapidly expanding library of books and booklets being released around the world. Howard appears on radio, television and Internet interviews, and regularly speaks throughout the world.
