Episode Description

Dr. Carole explores our preconceptions of domestic violence and turns them inside out. She reveals why the self-interest of the NFL and others makes them deny that Super Bowl Sunday is indeed the day when there's the highest amount of domestic violence. Dr. Carole then analyzes the profile of a perpetrator of such abuse, the type she's called The Prince of Darkness in her book, Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them and When to Leave Them. She explains why women are attracted to these men and provides warning signals to help women recognize when they're in danger. Next, she comments on OJ Simpson, a classic Prince of Darkness, and analyzes the current TV series about him - American Crime Story.
