Episode Description

More and more we are hearing about big data and analytics that can help sharpen the performance of organizations and decisions about people in the organization - arguably the most important part of any company. I have long espoused that we do not use enough measurement around people practices and decisions and that we operate way too much from the gut - hiring and promoting “mini-mes.”
My guest today is the world-wide father of human capital strategic analysis and measurement relative to people. Dr. Jac Fitz-enz is the leading expert on human capital and helped forge the way for better data driven decision making about human capital issues. He is the author of over 13 books, which we will be discussing, along with what he considers to be the five most important things to measure about people at work.
