Nancy Salamone

Nancy Salamone is the author of “Victory Over Violence” the inspiring story of her struggle to live an independent life free from Domestic Violence and her quest to help other women achieve independence in their lives too. Nancy is also the author of The Business of Me, a curriculum that teaches women survivor’s how to lead self-sufficient lives of which financial literacy is a part. The program works with women to create community around self-sufficiency and financial independence with the goal of reducing revictimization. Her accomplishments include 25 years as an executive for major Wall Street financial services companies and her devotion to “giving back” through her non-profit work. Nancy speaks about how she can to and left an abusive 20 year marriage and her journey to creating a self sufficient life and why financial literacy is important for all women whether or not they have experienced abuse. • Representative from Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence
