Jeremy Sheets
Jeremy Sheets was wrongly convicted of murder in 1997 and spent 4 years on Death Row in the state of Nebraska. He is an Anti-Death Penalty advocate. He is currently a member of Witness to Innocence, a national organization of Death Row Exoneree’s. He works closely with Coloradans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty Colorado. He is a member of “Witness to Innocence, an organization of death row exonerees leading a campaign to end the death penalty. Jeremy hopes to become involved in a national campaign to end Prosecutorial Immunity. He says, "You are putting the power of life and death in the hands of someone that does NOT care about innocence, only conviction rates, and then giving them complete immunity when they knowingly send an innocent person to death row. That's insanity."
