John M. Lajoie, CLI, turned the one-man operation he began in 1989 into one of the largest investigative firms in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. John holds several certifications including Legal Investigator, Criminal Defense Investigator, International Investigator, & Board Certified Professional Investigator. He specializes in criminal defense homicide, civil related death investigation, & insurance fraud matters. He is licensed in MA, RI & CT & has investigated over 10,000 cases. John is Past President of the Licensed Private Detectives Association of Massachusetts; is a 4-term past CLI Chairperson for the National Association of Legal Investigators, and a member of several national and international professional investigator organizations. He has received numerous awards and accolades both within and outside of the PI world. An award winning author, John has produced numerous publications including his non-fiction book Trials and Tribulations of a Real Life Private Eye, published by AuthorHouse. Lajoie was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, lives in Sterling, MA, and operates his business in West Boylston, MA.
