After Keith SCHAFFERIUS served in the Royal Australian Air Force & spent a brief stint as a motel & restaurant owner on Australia’s Gold Coast, he switched gears to become a private investigator. Four decades later, Keith is Australia’s longest active PI license holder. He is a member of the World Association of Detectives. Keith developed International Detection Services into one of Australia’s most high profile investigation businesses. He became known as an international specialist in non-custodial parental abduction child recovery, often risking his life, & once even jailed. Today, he continues to be a consultant for the business he sold in 2004 & still handles cases for a number of international clients. In 2008 Keith was approached by Harper Collins Intl to chronicle his PI adventures. The Retriever, a book about the recovery of abducted children was released in 2010. A second book drawn from his voluminous investigation files will be released in 2012. Keith’s career also caught the attention of a movie company who has contracted with Keith to produce a thirteen part TV miniseries dramatizing the fascinating & high profile cases from Keith’s lengthy career.
