Mark Mermelstein

A partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, Mark Mermelstein is a trial attorney specializing in complex litigation and white collar criminal defense. He is admitted to practice in both California and New York and specializes in complex commercial litigation. His main focus is representing corporations and individuals facing allegations of securities fraud, health care fraud, antitrust violations, money laundering, environmental crimes, mail & wire fraud, embezzlement, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Following his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania Law School magna cum laude, he served as clerk for Honorable Jane R. Roth, 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals. He has authored several articles and spoken to groups regarding white collar crime. For the past seven years the Los Angeles Magazine & Southern California Super Lawyers - Rising Star Edition have voted Mark a “Rising Star” in Southern California. He is currently the editor of the Pennsylvania Law Review and has received commendation for his participation in the pro bono civil rights panel, US District Court, Central District of California.
