Brooke McKenzie
Brooke McKenzie A man who calls a spade a spade. He calls himself a “Free Enterprise Socialist”. For over 40 years he has been self employed within the Entrepreneurial spheres from shipping, property development and gold mining to fighting oil well fires in Kuwait to hunting for sunken treasures in sub Antarctic waters. He has been involved in politics at a grass roots level and co-founded the New Zealand First Political Party in 1993 In this interview Brooke talks candidly in his own ‘nothing barred’ style about the recovery effort after the devastation of the massive New Zealand Earthquakes in 2011.
