Jon Schuyler Brooks
Mr. Brooks is a partner at Phillips Nizer LLP, co-chair of the firm’s Environmental Law Practice and a member of its Litigation Practice. Individual and business clients rely upon him as their advocate in environmental and complex commercial litigation matters and as their advisor on environmental aspects of real estate, corporate and financial transactions. His involvement in environmental legal matters began over 25 years ago, first as a policy maker, then as a practitioner and visiting professor. Earlier he worked on environmental policy and legislation both in Washington, D.C. as Legislative Staff Assistant to the late US Senator Daniel P. Moynihan. His colleagues twice selected him as Chair of the International Environmental Law Committee of the NYS Bar Association and as a "Super Lawyer" in Environmental law in the Metro Y area.
