Chris represented Great Britain for almost 10 years, reaching Olympic, World Commonwealth and European finals. His defining moment came in 2006 at the Commonwealth Games, Melbourne Australia, as Chris defied the odds and became Double Commonwealth Champion. The dedication and hard work that went into his average week involved 4.30am starts, 60,000+ meters of swimming and training in excess of 30 hours. Now retired from International Swimming, Chris reflects over a career which started late, showing no signs of success as a teenager but with hard work, determination and focus, resulted in international medals, national records and personal pride. Chris working with young people in schools, swimming clubs and sports clubs, raising their aspirations and helping them to harness the skills needed to achieve their goals and dreams. Chris also works in with businesses, organisations and councils to assist with their goals and targets whilst creating an impact that develops a team ethos.
