Carla J. Keegan, CPA, CFE, CIRA, CFF
Carla Keegan is the President and Director of Taxation for Keegan, Linscott & Kenon, PC, a 48-person, full service accounting Firm located in Tucson, Arizona. Carla has over thirty years of experience in public accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and Certified in Financial Forensics who specializes in tax planning and compliance for not-for-profits, partnerships, corporations, S corporations, individuals and trusts. Carla has extensive background in financial and tax compliance planning, including low income housing tax credits, acquisitions, syndication, mergers, divestitures, forecasts and projections, research and development consulting, tax return preparation, bankruptcy court reporting, tax fraud, and reorganizations. Her work on these engagements includes planning sessions to ensure that clients are in proper compliance with all aspects of federal and state tax requirements. Carla currently teaches a Graduate level Taxation of Real Estate class at the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management, where she shares her many years of real estate expertise and experience with up and coming professional accountants.. Carla holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in accounting and a specialization in tax from the University of Arizona. She is a member of the tax section of the AICPA and ASCPA and a member of the National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. Carla is very active in the community, serving on many Boards of Directors, past and present, including the Community Food Bank, DM 50, Angel Charity for Children, Inc. and the Junior League of Tucson. In 2011, Carla was awarded the Arizona Society of CPAs Public Service Award.
