Joe Cowley
Joe Cowley, President/CEO, Center for Alcohol & Drug Services, Inc Joe was named the CENTER’s President/ CEO in May of 2009. Before being appointed President/ CEO, Joe served in many capacities within the organization since 1986. He is certified as a Family Development Specialist through the University of Iowa, Substance Abuse Counselor for State of Iowa, Graduated 9/03 Iowa Health Leadership Institute, National Board of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists, Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Doctoral Addictions Counselor, Master Addictions Counselor, Nationally Certified Addictions Prevention Specialist, and Certified Domestic Violence Counselor IV. He was appointed as the Substance Abuse representative to the Children’s Justice Summit Statewide Council by Iowa Chief Supreme Court Justice, Judge Brent Appel. He’s also served several terms on the Iowa Child Death Review Team and the Iowa Domestic Violence Death Review Team.
