“Anne M. Fletcher is a nationally known health and medical writer and author of seven books, including the national bestsellers Sober for Good, Thin for Life, and Eating Thin for Life. Fletcher has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, a master’s degree from Drexel University, and is a registered dietitian. Among Fletcher’s many prestigious awards are the Research Society on Alcoholism Journalism Award, numerous National Health Information Awards, and an award from the American Psychological Association on advancing the public’s understanding of addiction. As a founding member of her county drug court in Minnesota, she helped develop its treatment program and remains on its steering committee. She is on the advisory board for a high school for teens with substance use disorders. Fletcher is the former executive editor of the Tufts University Health & Nutrition Letter and was a contributing editor for Prevention Magazine. Her articles have appeared in Vogue, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Better Homes and Gardens, Readers Digest, American Psychologist, and many other publications. Anne M. Fletcher lives in southern Minnesota.”
