Alexis Ringwald

Alexis Ringwald is a leading young entrepreneur. She is co-founder and CEO of LearnUp, a job training startup, which she started after spending six months in America's unemployment lines researching the education and jobs crisis. Previously, she was a founder of Valence Energy, an energy efficiency software start-up acquired by Serious Energy in 2010. Alexis is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum for 2013; Forbes "30 Under 30" in 2012 and 2013; The Huffington Post's Female Founders to Follow; Fast Company's “Most Influential Women in Tech”; Forbes Most Notable Alumni from Yale. Alexis was a U.S. Fulbright Scholar to India and published a book, “Momentum for Renewable Energy in India” (available at Barnes & Noble). Alexis completed a B.A./M.E.M. from Yale. She speaks French, German, Spanish and basic Hindi, and dances ballet and tango. She has spoken at TEDx, and been invited as a guest to the White House.
