Lisa Halpern
Lisa Halpern is the founder and CEO of Kiboo (www.kiboo.com), a social banking and financial literacy start-up focused on bringing young people closer to their money. Kiboo’s Know Your Money™ platform creates and builds community around money management with original content, a financial analytics engine and social features and functionality that engage young people to save, spend and give their money smarter. Prior to becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Lisa practiced law specializing in tax and estate planning. It became clear to her that there was a need for people (especially young people) to have a real-world, engaging and relevant service to teach them about personal finance. And, just like that the idea of Kiboo was born. Lisa holds a B.A. from Clark University, J.D. from Cardozo School of Law, LL.M. from University of Miami.
