Professor Andrew Karolyi
Professor Karolyi is an internationally-known scholar in the area of investment management, specializing in int’l financial markets. He’s published extensively in journals in finance and economics, has published several books &monographs and has been covered extensively in print and electronic media. He currently serves as editor of the renowned Review of Financial Studies. He is an assoc. editor for several of journals, incl. the Jl of Empirical Finance, Jl of Banking and Finance, Review of Finance and Pacific Basin Finance Jl. He is a recipient of several awards including the Fama/DFA Prize for Capital Markets & Asset Pricing (2005) and Johnson's Prize for Excellence in Research in 2010. He leads executive education programs in four continents, and is actively involved in consulting with corporations, banks, investment firms, stock exchanges, and law firms. He is a trustee and past president of the Financial Management Assn Int’l and served as a director of the American Finance Assn.
