Fred Blum

Fred Blum founded B&R Services for professionals in 1968 and twenty years later, obtained his private detective license. He became interested in family history in 1998 and traced his ancestors back as early as 1810, locating over 1200 family members to date. With his new found skills, Fred offered his services to the International Red Cross Holocaust Tracing Service to locate and reunite family members of Jewish, Polish and Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. As a result of his work, the International Red Cross recognized him with their Volunteer of the Year award. Since then he has been assisting the United Holocaust Memorial Museum in locating European children orphaned between 1933 and 1946 for their Remember Me Project.
