Jennifer Karas Brown
After years of training under the supervision of a well-respected private investigator, Jennifer Brown founded J. Brown Legal Investigations. Primarily focused on criminal defense cases, she is experienced in conducting investigation on sexual assault cases and state & federal death penalty mitigation. Jennifer is licensed in Colorado and holds the Certified Legal Investigator designation through the National Association of Legal Investigators. A prolific author, she has written a number of award-wining articles for trade publications such as PI Magazine & The Legal Investigator. Jennifer is a past board member and current newsletter editor for the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado. Her trade association affiliations include National Association of Legal Investigators; National Legal Aid & Defender Association / National Alliance of Sentencing Advocates and Mitigation Specialists, & the National Council of Investigation & Security Services.
