Jennet Robinson Alterman
Jennet Robinson Alterman is a Non Profit Consultant and Motivational Speaker. Before starting her consulting business in August 2013, Jennet was the Executive Director of the Center for Women, a nonprofit organization serving the Charleston, S.C. Region. Under her tenure the focus of the Center for Women was: helping women start and be successful as small business owners, piloting a $1,000 “microloan” program to assist women‐owned, small businesses, training and inspiring women to leadership positions in business and civic affairs, and helping women find new or better jobs through job counseling and training. In 2013 Jennet was chosen to represent S.C. as the state’s delegate to Vision 2020, a national initiative advancing women’s economic and social equality through collaborations with affiliated organizations and members in 50 states.
