Marianna Cacciatore


Marianna Cacciatore is an author and public speaker. Her book, Being There for Someone in Grief has been used as a guide for hospice volunteers and as a textbook for Spiritual Directors. It was endorsed by Stephen Levine, Mark Nepo, Wayne Muller, and Parker Palmer. She has just completed the manuscript for her second book, The Way of Love, Generosity, and Grief: An Intimate Portrayal of Stitching the Heart Back Together. She was the Founding Executive Director of the philanthropic organization, Bread for the Journey (BFJ). From 1998 to 2014, she directed the development of BFJ from a single chapter in Santa Fe, NM to a national organization with the capacity to create affiliate chapters throughout the United States. She serves as a Lifetime Emeritus Board Member of Tu Nidito (Your Little Nest) the parent agency for the organization she founded in 1990 called Children to Children—A Center for Children & Families in Grief. Tu Nidito is in Tucson, AZ, where it remains one of the most
