Anna Tolin

Anna Tolin is Deputy Director of the Innocence Project Northwest (IPNW) and a Lecturer at University of Washington School of Law. She supervises IPNW Clinic students investigating claims of innocence for Washington prisoners and oversees post-conviction DNA testing cases under a National Institute of Justice “Bloodsworth” grant in collaboration with the Washington State Patrol Crime Laboratory. A 1992 graduate of the Cornell Law School, Anna has practiced criminal defense as a public defender and in private practice at all levels of Washington State and federal courts. She serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Post-Prison Education Program and is a past President of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
