Kim Mordarnt who apart from being the wonderfully talented writer of the new film “The Rocket”, is one of the nicest, most down to earth guys that you would ever meet in the entertainment business. There is some real Oscar buzz about the movie in the foreign film category. Kim has been frantically busy since he has been in Hollywood because the powers that be are taking notice and Red Lamp Films, the production company that Kim founded with producer/writer Sylvia Wilczynski have two fiction features in development, both written by Kim. But don't just take my word for it, The Rocket has won 3 major awards at the Berlin international film Festival, as well as winning best feature, best actor and the audience award at the Tribeca international film Festival. It has also won awards in the Netherlands, India, the Ukraine, Taiwan, Italy, Canada, England, Kosovo, Denmark, and Australia. I have to tell you ‘The Rocket’ is a really great movie.
