Joshua Shultz
Native Californian, Joshua Shultz has experienced a life in the arts ever since he first discovered a passion in drawing and painting at a young age. While working on a music video project for Band of Horses in 2010, the production team lost a cinematographer, which is where Josh Shultz first held a camera and taught himself on the spot how to handle it. After experimenting with filmmaking and uncovering his ability to truly capture his visions on film, he became interested with photography and all that goes with it. Falling in love with photography, he turned his hobby into a rewarding career shooting fashion, art, landscapes, performers, and bands. Highlights of some of his accomplishments: Directed the Fashion Film Bowie staring Celebrity Actor Edwin Hodge. Directed videos for Paramore, Ryan Phillippe, Peter Facinneli, Amanda Crew, Portugal. The Man, Nichole Galicia, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Grouplove to name a few. Photo shoots with: Imagine Dragons (Published in Rolling Stone), The 1975 Top British Band Peter Facinelli from Twilight, Actor Ryan Phillippe, Amanda Crew Star of such films “Charlie Saint Cloud with Zac Efron and New HBO Show Silicon Valley, Nichole Galicia from Django UnChained, Edwin Hodge Star of The Purge and Red Dawn, Aldis Hodge Star of TV Leverage, Jason Dohring from Veronica Mars show and movie, Chloe from the band KITTEN,, Grouplove Top band signed with Atlantic Records, Lyndon Smith from Parenthood. He produced Music Video for Brandon Boyd from Incubus; Cinematographer on Band of Horses Film at Beach Boys Studio in Big Sur; Produced the FILM FIREFLY the Short for Transatlantic.
