Libby Connelly
Libby Connelly began her current position as Abilene Regional Director for the Alzheimer’s Association-North Central Texas Chapter in September 2005. As Regional Director, Libby is responsible for fundraising and ensuring core services are provided to a fourteen county region in North Central Texas. Core services include telephone helpline, education and training, support groups, safe return program, research and advocacy. She also is responsible for advocacy information and actions for the North Central Texas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. The Abilene regional office has been recognized nationally for its excellent work. Libby served as District Aide for State Representative, David Farabee. The Connally family moved to Abilene in 2002 at which time she served as District Representative for Congressman Charlie Stenholm until his office closed in 2004.
