Katy Ursta

Katy Ursta is a 31 year old mom of 2 whose world was recently rocked when she was diagnosed with cancer. On February 13, 2013 while enjoying an extended maternity leave, the school teacher and Beachbody coach received the news that would be hard for anyone to digest –she had stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma: a cancer of the blood. Through anger, tears, and prayers, she made a conscious choice to punch cancer in the face by continuing to work out every day, invest ten minutes a day into personal development, devote countless hours to raising funds for both the Mario Lemieux Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. To date she has raised over $6,500 to these organizations. During the maternity leave, she has created a six figure income that has helped her and her husband pay all the medical bills, devote time to healing through the grueling bi-weekly chemotherapy treatments, and continually motivate others through social media. “I truly feel that God is working his miracles through me. I believe my diagnosis has come with many blessings. Daily, blessing unfold before me.” www.onefitfighter.com https://www.facebook.com/onefitfighter?fref=ts
