Alok Gupta
Alok Gupta is as a Principal with The Cambridge Group based in the New York office. Alok has worked extensively in financial services consulting having helped retail banks, credit card issuers, payments firms, wealth management units and brokerages across several regions including the US, Canada, Europe and Asia. Alok focuses on helping clients develop customer-focused profitable growth strategies and the business systems that help test and implement them. His extensive functional expertise includes customer segmentation, product portfolio/feature design, precision pricing (rate and fee), customer value enhancement and channel optimization. Alok’s work is heavily anchored in generating a detailed and complete view of the financial services customer and utilizing this advanced customer knowledge to develop growth solutions. Prior to joining The Cambridge Group, Alok’s consulting history includes stints at both the London and New York offices of McKinsey, as well as Novantas and First Manhattan Consulting Group. Most recently Alok was a Principal in the Financial Services practice of PwC based in New York. Alok earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration, with emphasis on marketing, at the Stern School of Business at New York University. Earlier, he earned an MBA, with honors, at the University of Mumbai, India, where he also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with honors.
