Christopher Withers
Chris leads the Financial Services sales unit for IBM Watson Solutions in Europe. He works with leading Financial Services firms to apply the power of machine learning and artificial intelligence of IBM's Watson to dramatically transform customer and employee engagement. Chris holds a BA (Hons) and a MEng in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and a MBA from Harvard Business School. Prior to this role, Chris lead IBM’s Smarter Commerce software business in the UK and Ireland focused on delivering multi-channel solutions in the Retail. He worked with clients to innovate their customer experience through digital channels to improve customer life time value, online conversion rates and marketing ROI. Chris joined IBM in 2004 and has a held a number of sales leadership and sales management positions in the IBM enterprise software business. Chris has extensive understanding and experience of business strategy, gained across multiple industries. He has a keen interest in entrepreneurship having worked in a number of software start-ups and serves as a mentor for the IBM intrapreneurship programme.
