Rick Diaz
Rick served with the Air Force for 22 years in the integrated avionics and first sergeant career fields. Rick received a BAS degree in Gerontology from Abilene Christian University in 2011. At the Area Agency on Aging Rick has been the Information, Referral and Assistance Coordinator; Income Support Coordinator; Disaster Assistance Coordinator; Assistive Technology Coordinator; and state certified Benefits Counselor. Rick left the Area Agency on Aging in September of 2012. He began working for DFPS as an APS Facility Investigator in Abilene, Texas in January 2013. Rick was promoted to In Home Supervisor for Unit 25 in July 2014. Unit 25 covers twelve West Central Texas counties including rural Taylor County with six APS In Home Specialists.
