Thornton May is a futurist, educator and the author of The New Know: Innovation Powered by Analytics. His extensive experience researching and consulting on the role and behaviors of “C” level executives in creating value with information technology has won him a place among serious thinkers on this topic. He combines a scholar’s patience for empirical research, a stand-up comic’s capacity for pattern recognition and a second-to-none gift for storytelling to address the IT management problems facing executives. eWeek editors named him to the Top 100 Most Influential People in IT. Fast Company labeled him ‘one of the top 50 brains in business.’ Thornton co-founded the Olin Innovation Lab, co-manages the CIO Solutions Gallery at THE Ohio State University, and co-directs the CIO Practicum program at the University of Kentucky. He serves as Futurist - External Technology Advisory Board at the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering and on the Advisory Board of Mobiquity, Inc.
