Paul Charity



Paul has had a varied career, combining journalism with direct experience of founding a multi-site pub company. He was editor of a weekly newspaper in Lincolnshire at the age of 28. In his early 30s he co-founded the Bull-dog Hotel Group with a single leasehold site. Most recently, he edited the Publican’s Morning Advertiser, spending ten years on the magazine during which time it became market leader. Whilst on the magazine he set up some of the best-known and most successful events in the pub sector. He also edited M&C Report, the intel-ligence and analysis newswire for top tier pub, restaurant and foodservice executives, achieving a 60% uplift in subscription levels based on the quality of its business information. Paul is also the brains behind the creation of the Zolfo Cooper Profit Tracker and currently edits The Propel Info Morning Briefing, a daily free-to-air news-letter for pubs, restaurants and food service operators.
