John Trujillo



Mr. John Trujillo was raised in the Southwest living in New Mexico and Arizona before moving to Northern Virginia. August of 2001 he transferred as a DoD civilian empolyee from AZ to the Pentagon Renovation Program. That September when the Pentagon was attacked he was part of the network team that helped restore communications in the Pentagon. Mr. Trujillo was the lead engineer on Command Communications Survivability Program (CCSP) a Post 9/11 Pentagon Program that mitigated many of the identified communications vulnerabilities within the Pentagon and the National Capital Region. He was the Lead engineer on the highly successful two year program Command Communications Survivability Program (CCSP) ensuring success from cradle to grave. During this time he received the David Packard Excellence in acquisition Award, Commander's Award for Civilian Service for Command Emergency 9/11 Technical Response Team, Commander's Award for Civilian Service for Command Communications Survivability Program (CCSP), and DoD Group Achievement Award for Support of Pentagon 9/11 Recovery and Rebuilding 9/11 efforts. In 2006 Mr. Trujillo accepted the position as the HQDA CIO/G-6 Special Access Program (SAP) DAA. He has been a member of the Pentagon Area CIO Counsel (PACC) from 2002- Present. After seven years of being with the CIO/G-6 he has transformed the branch into the AONS-AOA DAA/COOP/Security Division where he is the Division Chief. In 2008 he founded Warrior Transition a 501(c) 3 with the goal of helping Veterans of all eras to start their own businesses. Warrior Transition is based out of Virginia and works with Veterans from all over the US. Warrior Transition is a member of the Veteran Service Organizations counsil at the Pentagon.
